Black Forest furniture (commonly known as "Hunt" style) was very popular in late 19th century France~~characterized by highly carved game such as rabbits, pheasants, foxes and hunting dogs~~~complemented by fruit, nut, floral, rosette, nut, ribbon accents or Gothic elements
This cabinet is a great size with single upper door and only 42" wide~~a customer favorite!
Original "wavy" glass in upper cabinet door surrounded finely carved Black Forest fruit, nut and floral elements~~excellent condition with no breaks
~~Exquisitely carved pheasants on lower doors~~beautiful upper crown with cartouche medallion~~
Three removable/adjustable interior shelves in upper cabinet (10" deep) and one shelf in lower cabinet~~tons of storage~
