"Dolphin" tables were very popular in late Victorian era French country homes and castles~~~we have NEVER had one in this petite size and in WALNUT~~so RARE~~characterized by elaborate Renaissance Revival carvings with Gothic elements~~~multiple drop finials with the eye-catching ORNATE pedestal feet resembling dolphins or sea creatures~~these were high quality tables that could have only been afforded by French royalty or the very wealthy
~Beautiful relief-carved beveled edge top~~with "gadroon" accented apron~~all drop finials are intact~~
~~Carved on all four sides~~can "float" in the center of a room ~~
~~Versatile size~~31 1/4" tall x 27" wide x 18" deep~~
