In 18th and 19th century Europe, sacristy or vestment cabinets were used to store liturgical garments, robes, wine and other articles associated primarily with the Christian religion. 

OUTSTANDING example of a late 19th century cabinet~~center winged St. George slaying a dragon with small carvings of animal symbols and evangelists~~left cabinet door depicts St. Peter holding the key to heaven and right cabinet door depicts St. Paul holding a sword and book

CONDITION:  This item is in very good condition with normal signs of age and use. There is some loss to St. George's spear.  Multiple photos are provided that should be considered part of the description.  Antiques should be purchased for craftsmanship, uniqueness, charm and character, and very few true antiques are "like new".  We encourage you to ask questions prior to purchase.
