Black Forest furniture (commonly known as "Hunt" style) was very popular in late 19th century France~~characterized by highly carved game such as rabbits, pheasants, foxes and hunting dogs~~~complemented by fruit, nut, floral, rosette, nut, ribbon accents or Gothic elements
This wonderful bookcase is a great size and fits nicely in smaller spaces~~a customer favorite!
