~~"Panetiere" (French) means cupboard for storing freshly made  bread (from the Latin "pan")~~these were also used as wall cabinets~~

Beautiful decorative cabinet is embellished with flower basket and other floral and vase motifs~~this is the "French Country "look" everyone asks about~~a decorator's dream

~~Carved center door with original brass hardware and working lock with key~~flanked by spindles and carved crown~~we have the original top finials (one is missing) and will ship them with this item (not shown in photos~~we think it looks better without the finials)~~

Carved "scrolled" feet

Rich walnut patina~~sturdy and stable

CONDITION:  This item is in very good condition with normal signs of age and use. Hinges on door are a little slack.  Multiple photos are provided that should be considered part of the description.  Antiques should be purchased for craftsmanship, uniqueness, charm and character, and very few true antiques are "like new".  We encourage you to ask questions prior to purchase.
