In 18th and 19th century Europe, sacristy or vestment cabinets were used to store liturgical garments, robes, wine and other articles associated primarily with the Christian religion.

Exquisitely carved "heart-shaped" cartouche crown and backsplash with figural accents
 
 ~~One interior shelf with two highly carved hand-cut, dovetailed drawers~~
