EXQUISITE Antique English "Tiger Oak" 19th Century Georgian Style Chest of Drawers with Provenance~~c. 1856

A MUST HAVE~~gorgeous example of a 19th century English chest of drawers~~ 5 drawers with original brass bat wing hardware ~~carved bracket feet typical of the Georgian style~~exquisite bone, mahogany and string inlays and canted corners!  

RARELY do we find these chests with history and provenance. This is a commissioned piece made in 1856 for the original owners~~there is a handwritten note found in the upper drawer that reads "This large oak chest was made for my great grandparents, governess Margaret Odling and William Lister, farmer, of Heckmondwyke, Yorkshire, when they married in 1856, and belonged to my aunt (their granddaughter) Clara Lister who lived at Ilkley until she died in the 1970s and then to me. Dated  2017 (signed by Margaret Wilkens)"
