BEAUTIFUL set of 6 matching antique English dark oak Renaissance Revival dining chairs with green velvet upholstered seats~~~just in from our recent English container~~dining chairs are always in high demand~~could also be used as library/conference table chairs or hall chairs!
Notice the detailed dolphin carved backs with cannonball finials and original dark oak patina~~a wonderful example of the craftsmanship of the era
Each chair has its original maker's tag that reads: Hewetson, Milner & Thexton Lted House Furnishers

Our research dates these chairs to 1890's London or earlier
Padded upholstered seats pop out and could easily be reupholstered if desired~~upholstery is in good condition for its age with some signs of wear as would be expected
Excellent turned post legs and scalloped stretchers for support~~solid oak, very sturdy and stable. Hard to find a matching set of 6 in this condition!
