HANDSOME Antique English HIGHLY CARVED Oak Blanket Box, Coffer, Trunk, Storage Chest or Bench~~18th Century

These chests were originally used as strongboxes for holding money, jewelry and other valuables.  The perfect size for a foyer, entry hall or mudroom bench, or as a coffee table.  Excellent example of the hand carved craftsmanship of the era~~~use it for storage at the foot of a bed!   

FULL of CHARACTER~~rarely do we find 18th century pieces like this one~~classic English style

CONDITION:  This item is in very good condition with normal signs of age and use. There is some age appropriate loss as would be expected of a piece of this age but nothing that affects the stability.  Multiple photos are provided that should be considered part of the description.  Antiques should be purchased for craftsmanship, uniqueness, charm and character, and very few true antiques are "like new".  We encourage you to ask questions prior to purchase.
